Welcome to the F. Edwin Church (1876-1975) online catalogue raisonné project, an ongoing study designed to be both a comprehensive database and a tool for further discovery and exploration of his life and works. The examples provided in the following pages are to familiarize the public and the art community at large with the style and composition of his artwork. Our goals are to compile a complete inventory of his work through promoting public awareness and encouraging response, and to refresh the artist’s identity and place in the field of American art.

We are actively seeking his artwork for inclusion in this project.
